A family legacy.
A love for the land.

On approximately 700 acres in Virginia's countryside, Alaron Farms carries forward five generations of Cutright family farming heritage. Our story is rooted in care for our cattle, respect for our land, and a desire to reconnect families with the source of their food.

The Cutright Family

What one generation learns, the next carries forward.

Some of the most valuable things a family passes down are the things learned through daily work: how to care for animals, how to pay attention to the land, and why doing a job well matters. At Alaron Farms, those values connect five generations of the Cutright family's farming heritage.

Here in North Garden, Virginia, that heritage continues through the work of raising cattle and caring for the farm. We take pride in producing beef our family is proud to serve at its own table, and in preserving the knowledge and responsibility that come with a life in agriculture.

Alaron Farms is the next chapter of that story. By bringing our beef directly to families, we want to share a closer connection to the people, place, and care behind their food. The future we are building grows from the values our family carries forward.

Our name was inspired by two family names, reflecting the family connection at the heart of Alaron Farms.

Caring for the placewe call home.

Just south of Charlottesville, our farm sits among Central Virginia's rolling hills, pastures, hardwood forests, and Blue Ridge views. Across approximately 700 acres, the landscape gives our work its setting and our family a lasting sense of responsibility.

Stewardship means paying attention to what the land needs and continuing to improve how we care for it. Pasture management, fencing, and water systems are part of that ongoing work. Our goal is to preserve the farm's character while preparing it for the generations still to come.

Charolais & Red Angus

Care is part ofevery day.

We raise Charolais and Red Angus cattle with a feeding program based on pasture and hay. Looking after the herd means paying attention every day: observing the animals, providing clean water and quality nutrition, and working with veterinary support to care for their health.

Low-stress handling, preventive care, and respect for the animals guide our approach. These are everyday responsibilities, carried out by the family and the people who help care for the farm.

  • Daily observation

Regular attention to the herd and its needs.

The Values We Carry Forward

Family values,practiced on the farm.

The way we care for the land, the animals, and the families we serve grows from the same set of values.

Stewardship

We see caring for the land as an ongoing responsibility, with the farm's future in mind.

Respect for animals

We approach cattle care with attention, patience, and respect for the animals entrusted to us.

Integrity and transparency

We believe families deserve clear, honest information about where their food comes from and how it is raised.

Hard work

We value the daily effort, practical knowledge, and continued improvement that farming requires.

Quality

We take pride in producing beef we are proud to serve at our own family table.

A Closer Connection to Your Food

A place at your table.A connection to our farm.

We believe knowing the people and place behind your food brings meaning to the meals you share. Our goal is to make that connection more personal: a family farm, a clear story, and beef raised with care.

Sharing our beef is also a way to carry our family's farming heritage forward. As Alaron Farms grows, we want to keep that connection at the center of the experience and help more families feel confident about the food they bring home.
